Job Description:

The role's core function is to continue development and improvement of API libraries utilized for communication with quote and trade management system. Successful candidate will be able to quickly familiarize himself with existing code base and learn how API interacts with server side infrastructure components, proactively suggest and implement improvements. Successful candidate will be able to communicate with and provide guidance to clients adapting the API as well as provide support when production issues arise.

 

Required Skill:

1. Heavy experience in multithreading and network programming with TCP and other messaging APIs
2. Heavy experience with C++, ability to write platform independent code with low latency/high throughput considerations
3. Experience working on infrastructure projects with libraries and APIs used by 3rd parties
4. Clear conceptual thinking and communication
5. Working knowledge of UNIX/LINUX and various IPCs such as shared memory.
6. Some prior exposure to Java desirable but not necessary
