Position: Sr Project Manager (281013-JANQUI-EX-IO-JOH)

Location: Cincinnati, OH

Duration: 6 month+ (CTH)

Description:

Ideal candidates will be able to navigate complex client situations and develop solutions based on client needs. Our client is seeking someone who can be hands-on in working closely with requirements definition AND serve in an advisory capacity for their external clients.

KEY SKILLS:

* Ability to triage custom-built applications. Candidate cannot be solely dependent on others to find solutions to a technical issue.
* Must be able to understand the solution requirements, determine scope, impact and be able to triage. in a .Net environment.
* Must have outstanding communication skills with a strong emphasis on client relationships.
* Must be able to hear, repeat, validate, document and get back to the development stage in defining requirements.
* Must be able to mediate and make decisions.
* Must be process and quality oriented and a team player.
* High level of efficiency with MS Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Outlook.
* Knowledge of Clarity tool is preferred
* Experience with SharePoint is a plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Ensure projects are delivered on-time according to client requirements on budget, while meeting all of the customers' business requirements (in scope) as detailed in the Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) and/or State of Work
* Understand and clarify the business requirements and any date imperatives of the project.
* Resource Planning/Allocation
* Produce Project documentation, communication plan, issue tracking/mitigation, training and other deliverables as required by the project.
* Produce detailed project schedule using MS Project that meets client's requirements/deadlines.
* Lead time to ensure tasks are completed on-time.
* Manage customer to ensure timelines are met.
* Ensure schedule changes are communicated to project sponsor/management, develop contingency plans.
* Produce risks/issues log - proactively managing this activity throughout project lifecycle
* Understand, manage and track any changes to requirements or scope and the impact on potential solutions.
