Process/Business Analyst – SBP-227 (ref code: 122713-CARREC-IO32.5-C-DAV)
Location: Washington, DC
Duration: 3-6 months with potential for extension
Employment Type: 1099/W2
Background:
This position is expected to work as part of the Quality Management and Standards department in support of process improvement.
Tasks:
· Analyze our current Process Asset Library (PAL).
· Complete an inventory and catalogue of current PAL assets.
· Conduct gap analysis of PAL assets.
· Conduct review of Roles and determine variance to actual roles.
· Review artifact association to roles and determine gaps.
· Conduct review of the documented delivery processes for applicability.
· Conduct review of checklists and determine gaps.
· Review outcome lists and determine applicability.
· Conduct review of the documented examples for applicability.
· Assist teams with tasks associated to Process Working Groups.
· Conduct process assessments, as necessary.
· Collaborate on process improvements.
· Assist in internal appraisal preparation.
· Provide status accounting and milestone completion data.
· Generate a weekly Status Report.
Competencies:
· Experience in applying industry standard methodologies
· Experience with auditing programs/projects, reporting and tracking issues to resolution
· Excellent clear, effective written and oral communications are required
· Microsoft SharePoint
· Experience with the execution, monitoring, and administration of Quality/Process Improvement Best Practices
· Functional knowledge of Capability Maturity Model Integrated (CMMI)
· Microsoft Office suite (superficially MS Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio)
· Experience in full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) from initiation to project closure
· Ability to gather information and resolve issues independently
· Ability to identify, manage, and track progress and escalate issues as needed
· Ability to multi-task in a changing environment
· Work effectively with peers and supervisor(s)
