Job Description

MUST HAVE done migrations/upgrades from Net 2.0 or higher (web development),
Visual Studio 2008), Great communication skills and Oracle experience.

Qualifications include:
Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a
related field.
5+ years experience in information technology.
Solid development experience in Windows .NET, ASP.NET, COM+/DCOM, Web
Services, C#/C++, IIS/Apache, ASP, XML, WCF.
Experience in /Oracle, XLS/XSLT, Business Objects is a plus.
Course work or experience in the following areas is desirable: Reporting
tools, stored procedures, data structures, programming languages, systems
analysis and design, object oriented analysis and design, object oriented
programming, database management systems, data communications, control
structures, networks.
Insurance or Financial background is a plus.
Demonstrated success in project execution with involvement in multiple
projects.
Excellent communication skills to build relationships across the
organization from the business through enterprise IT organization.
Experience in various Software development life cycle/methodology.
Large enterprise development experience in complex heterogeneous process
oriented environments is a plus.
Excellent time management, communication, and organization skills.

Project details:
Candidate will be working on a conversion project migrating data from one
application version to another. This will also include upgrading specific
.Net applications to a more current version along with other development
changes within the current environment.
