Job Description:

Strong Data warehouse Developer with Ab Initio ETL development experience
Knowledge and background with Big Data: Hadoop Preferred.

An Application Developer creates detailed technical specifications, develops application and system code, presents and participates in code reviews and module testing and supports ongoing maintenance. They take requirements and high level designs and create detailed technical designs and build applications that support the companys infrastructure and business processes. Typically, their time is divided between reviews, designs, coding, and enhancements for the development of critical customer applications

- Design, code, test and document changes for new functionality and enhancements
- Quickly learn and understand how existing and new applications function
- Present and participate in peer reviews
- Interact with project managers and attend project meetings; communicate status & progress, raise issues and risks on a timely basis
- Work with QC Dept. to support their testing, participate in test cases and fix defects
- Produce high quality work minimizing re-work and providing for smoother QC testing
- Become familiar with all processes to Rollout new code into Production
