SAP BPC Functional Consultant

Location:: (PARSIPPANY, New Jersey)

Duration 6 months.

Rate : Market Rate.

Demonstrates system expertise for customizing the SAP BPC application
Demonstrates proficient knowledge of the Consolidation, Foreign Currency & Financial Planning & Analysis business processes
Performs detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solution; identifies, interprets, validates and documents customer requirements
Assist in existing solution reviews, provide gap analysis and provide assessment on version 10 upgrade scope.
Assist in defining global BPC design / development standards
Assess current state of BPC solutions and prepare roadmap for like solution integration, version upgrades and project phasing.
Proactively identify and proposes business processes and/or system enhancements.
Demonstrates the ability to liaise across business groups and disciplines, to gather functional business requirements, provide insight on system capabilities and best practices
Follows applicable Standards, Procedures, Guidelines and Methodologies in the implementation and/or maintenance of finance applications.

Position requirements

SAP BPC subject matter expert with 5 + years experience in architecting, developing and implementing BPC solutions.
Must demonstrate a strong functional knowledge and understanding of the financial Consolidation and Planning processes.
Demonstrate experience with system configuration in support of the functional processes Intercompany eliminations, Consolidation of Investments, Currency Translation, Allocations
Experience with SAP BW/BI and Business Objects
Participated in 3 or more Consolidations/Planning system implementations and/or upgrades
Ability to perform all facets of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Ability to understand business processes from a customer perspective
Must know what satisfies customers and make customer satisfaction a high priority for self and team
