Position: Citrix Application Hosting Architect (080312- RYASM)

Location: COLUMBUS, Ohio

Description:

Working independently, the Citrix IT Architect manages large scale assignments of high risk. The Citrix IT Architect will connect the IT technology strategy to the business unit strategy to produce a long-term combined view and ensure project alignment with other projects.

Responsibilities include gathering, investigating and analyzing user requirements for business processes and/or technical systems; conceptual design of implementation strategies on assigned projects; preparation of resource estimates, evaluations and recommendations; and develop and maintain necessary documentation of systems, projects and/or processes to ensure understanding of system details. This position requires advanced communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

The main responsibilities of the Citrix Hosting Architect are to:
Define and/or Review application hosting solutions.
Experience with application virtualization (Xenapp and
XenDesktop).
Experience with application delivery / deployment.
Experience with application hosting and infrastructure.
Strong knowledge of application licensing
Ability to evaluate application hosting options and make
recommendations.
- Resolve high-level functional issues with application hosting,
- Provide direction/decision in the development of the packaged application solution,
- Provide continuity in all application hosting solution decisions.
