Position: Java Developer w No-SQL / Bigtable database (080612-JAQU)

Location: BLUE ASH, Ohio

Duration: 6 months

Essential Job Functions:
Work directly with a small sub-team, tasked to prove out technical direction and solutions.
o Findings/recommendations will be consumed by the core implementation and architecture teams to shape the final design and minimize implementation risks.
Work with cutting edge technologies focused around NO-SQL/BigTable Databases, In Memory Databases/Object Grids, Web Technologies and near linear scalability solutions.
Perform development along with experimentation of product/solution. Participate in the selection of various sub components.
Capable of taking a product from Shelf to Live.

Requirements:
The ideal candidates should possess:
Full spectrum development. Experience working all tiers of a multi-tiered system.
o Experience technology implementation problems
o Experience in both development and operations
Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Must be easy to communicate with.
Self-starters and must be capable of wearing multiple hats
Eager to work with new/emerging technologies
Experience taking a product from Shelf to Live.
A unique position that requires an individual that:
o Can work with little (and abstract) direction
o Experienced with working with cutting edge technology releases. (Meaning they have experience using products that are not well adopted in the market, example: Open Source, Beta versions, etc.)
Possesses jack of all trade experience or people that came from smaller shops that wore multiple hats.
