Job Title: Sr. Technical Support Engineer (071414-CIJBST-IOM-T-RAJ) Location: San Ramon, CA Duration: Long Term Emp.Type: 1099/W2   Qualifications / Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering OR "STEM" Majors (Science, Technology,   Engineering and Math). * 5+ years of experience in software industry with at least 3 years in software technical support. Saas   support experience preferred. * Strong knowledge of at least 2 of the following: Java, C, C++. * Strong knowledge of databases and SQL. * Must be willing to travel and/or work a flexible schedule including the possibility of on-call rotation Desired Characteristics: * Knowledge of C, C++, Java, OSGI , Spring, XML, Spring, SQL, Oracle and Shell scripting * Must be able to work closely with Development, Product Management, QA and other key stakeholders * Ability to work on multiple problems simultaneously * Robust understanding of database technologies and performance optimization * Excellent written and verbal communication * Self-starter who is motivated to learn and is at ease working as part of a team of highly talented    professionals
