Job Title: Product Manager - Customer facing ((Ref code: 071414-CIJBSH-IOM-JOH) Location: San Ramon, CA Duration: Long Term                Responsibilities   Qualifications / Requirements Required: Bachelor of Science in one of the following:  business management; mechanical, electrical or energy engineering; mathematics; economics; statistics; energy management; physics; computer science; finance; or information technology. Required:  experience working for a commercial software company (as contrasted with sole experience in IT shops). Required:  experience building and delivering commercial software using the Agile Scrum delivery model. Required:  excellent communicator orally and written. Required:  min. 8 years of experience either working in and/or providing systems to the electric utility industry, all in the area of operational control and management systems. Required:  min. 10 yrs. prior verifiable experience in the software applications industry, specifically as a Product Manager. Required:  Demonstrated success defining and launching software applications and solutions, including verifiable direct participation in a software company for more than one entire major software release cycle. Required:  min. 5 years of experience collectively with two or more of the following: §  Business intelligence commercial off-the-shelf platforms §  Data Warehousing and ETL §  Big Data analytics §  Predictive data science §  Statistical Analysis Required:  Strong business acumen and quantitative and analytical problem solving skills Required:  Able to develop and manage strategic partnerships Required:  Able to develop detailed level of benefit / ROI analysis US citizenship or permanent unrestricted US work visa already in hand. Requires permanent residence within the San Francisco Bay Area.  General attendance at the San Ramon facility is required. Ability to travel domestically and internationally   Desired Characteristics Preferred candidate will also have an MBA, or a Masters degree in one of the above. Preferred: prior background working for a SaaS software company. Preferred:  Work experience in both startup software companies *and* larger established software companies. Preferred:  Work experience as a software solutions provider and/or expert user of Outage and Reliability management software applications.
