Job Title: Lead SAP QA (Ref Code: 062613-RAJRAJ-IO42-E-STE)

Location: BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ.

Duration: 6 Month Contract

Visa Type: Citizen/ GC/ EAD

Description:
Manages all phases of Regression Testing in the SAP FSL-Global system (SAP FICO, FS-CD and FS-RI modules). Responsibilities include test planning, managing test execution, monitoring and reporting progress against plan, coordinating with functional teams to resolve defects, and ensuring that proper test result documentation and processes are followed as per the test strategy.
Provides day to day work direction to the SAP FSL-Global testing team which includes both Employee and Vendor on-shore/off-shore resources.
Prepare and maintain Executive documents, case studies, analysis, risk assessment documentation, provide QA expertise with all facets of client in compliance with legal and regulatory authorities and records and recommends management best practices.
Perform initial analysis of defects identified during the regression testing cycle and escalate issues as required to the Functional Support Teams for resolution and ensure that the defects are closed within the required time-frame
Apply risk based testing methodology to ensure that test team focuses time and resources on testing business processes with a high potential for business interruption
Develop and implement strategy to automate the regression test bed with a long term goal of reducing the amount of time required to execute the regression test bed and ultimately the number of Vendor resources required for execution
Partners with the Production Support and Project Support teams to ensure that test scripts are developed or modified to cover new functionality and/or enhancements that are introduced into the production system on an ongoing basis
Analyze defects identified in production system to ensure that the proper controls are implemented in the regression test bed to ensure that the defect does not occur in production again

Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years experience working with SAP FS-CD and/or FS-RI modules
Minimum of 5 years experience working as SAP Quality Assurance Manager with hands on experience using HP Quality Center
Excellent in project management methodologies, planning & scheduling.
Excellent in managing, mentoring and coaching team members.
Strong understanding of Agile/Waterfall/ incremental software development and Business Analysis practices.
Demonstrated experience managing QA testing teams comprised of both Employee and Vendor resources that are located both on-shore and off-shore
Ability to work in a team environment that crosses geographic areas
Experience working with HP Quality Center, Business Process Component, QuickTest Professional, SAP TAO and/or SAP Solution Manager is a plus
Must be results oriented, and demonstrate a can-do attitude adaptability, flexibility and resourcefulness.
