Job Description:
Requirements:
Five (5) or more years experience writing requirements and system documentation to support medical claims processing (i.e.,
billing, adjudication, and payment) and validation
Proven experience providing end-to-end analysis and support for claims processing systems beyond compliance with HIPAA 5010
and ICD-10 implementations
Three (3) or more years experience using requirements management tools to compose and manage requirements (e.g.,
RequisitePro, DOORS, Composer, Quality Center Requirements module)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (in English)
Skills:
1. Strong analytical skills
2. Professional experience writing business and system requirements
3. Well-versed in health insurance industry standards
4. Proven experience working with complex systems and the software development life cycle
5. Ability to quickly understand complex systems and be able to explain them to varying customers
6. The internal drive, intellectual curiosity, ability to learn, and desire to help the customers succeed
7. Comfortable and confident using industry standard requirements and documentation tools
8. Strong multi-tasking skills
9. Perform assigned tasks with minimum supervision and limited JAD sessions
10. Ability to elicit requirements from multiple sources and produce a unified specification
Software:
1. Requirements management tool (e.g., RequisitePro, DOORS, Composer, Quality Center Requirements module)
2. (Preferred) HP Quality Center or Application Lifecycle Management tool for Requirements Management
3. Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint)
4. Medical claims software and ANSI X12 health care transactions
