Relevant Experience (Yrs)     :    3+ years of application development experience having worked extensively on databases such as SQL server 2005 and above
Necessary Skills     :    ·    Expert in MS SQL Server 2005/2008.·    Extensively worked on T-SQL, stored procedures, triggers, cursors, functions, views, indexes, synonyms.·    Skilled in writing dynamic queries to update/validate table values in multiple databases and servers.·    Transformed data from one server to other servers using tools like Bulk Copy Program (BCP), Data Transformation Services (DTS).·    Experience in SSIS, SSAS·    Experience in Performance Tuning, Query Optimization and running Database Consistency Checks using DBCC Utilities. ·    Used profilers and index tuning wizards for performance improvement of data issues.·    Used Performance Monitor/SQL Profiler to solve dead locks/long running queries.·    Hands on experience in debugging Stored Procedures and Triggers.·    Created simple DTS packages using SQL server 2005 and above.·    Hands on Experience in LINQ (Language Integrated Query).·    Skilled in Designing Data Model

Roles & Responsibilities    :    ·    Work closely with the Project Manager, Lead Systems analyst and the Technical Development Lead to understand the requirements·    Exploring and preparing the various technical design options to meet the Requirements in an efficient manner·    Development based on design·    Code reviews·    Functionality Testing and bug fixes /issue resolution during the various quality assurance testing cycles·    Working with the project team to ensure the migration of the code/objects developed·    Meeting all the agreed timelines for meeting the deliverables as per quality requirements·    Preparing documented as needed·    Providing regular status updates (status meetings, status reports etc) on the tasks to the SA, Lead Analyst, and Project Manager
