Oracle E Business Suite specialist  Loc : NY A qualified candidate must have a minimum of 3-5 years of hands on experience on Oracle e-Business Suite (EBS) R12/11i Installation, configuration, maintenance troubleshooting and support; 5 years Oracle DBA experience and in-depth understanding of Oracle Databases including current 10g/11g; at lease 1-2 years experience in Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) 10g/11g on UNIX platform preferably HP-Unix. Candidate must be proficient in all aspects of "system administration" functionality within Oracle E-Business Suite; have hands on experience with applications/tech stack/database upgrades, cloning, patching, and backups/recovery; a good understanding of Storage, Network, server technology, operating systems for optimal application performance is required and experience in supporting Development and Production environments. Candidate must have good interpersonal, communication and documentation skills.  Additional Skills (Skills that are a plus, but not required)  Knowledge of Quest-Stat ,HP-PPM (Kintana) for configuration migration is a plus.  Assignment  Selected candidate will lead the installation, configuration, patching and upgrading of Oracle E-Business Suite and will manage the installation, configuration, patching and upgrading of Oracle Core technology products Database, Application servers, Middleware and Security Management. Candidate will work closely with the Infrastructure Service team to configure server/storage/network components and support and perform database and application clones, refresh and trouble shoot performance issues. Selected individual will create project plans and set priorities and provide management reports on status, technical options, risks and issues. Selected candidate will diagnose and solve issues within the Oracle E-Business suite of technologies, including EBS Finance and Supply Chain modules, GRC, IPM, BizTalk, Mobile Supply Chain Management, OAM, AD, and Weblogic; work with the EBS DBA's to diagnose and solve issues with Oracle RAC, GRID, Business Intelligence and Hyperion products and work with EBS DBA's to manage the patching of EBS suite of products and will assist in the planning and execution of the upgrades across the Oracle production. Candidate will lead in the Change Manage process to migrate code and configurations. Selected candidate must be experienced in integration of Oracle OAM/SSO with Oracle E-Business Suite R12. Candidate must have an excellent ability to research, evaluate and recommend technical solutions and have planning, research, time management, multi-tasking, problem resolution in a demanding situation supporting production systems and decision making abilities. Candidate must have a proven ability to work effectively and collaboratively with internal business and technical teams as well as vendors and consultants and the ability to take directions and plan and execute independently or with minimal guidance is required.
