Job Title: Senior Engineer

Location: McLean, VA (Tyson's Corner)

Duration: 6+ month contract (has the ability to extend up to 2 years)

Description:

Contractor needed to support SONAR upgrade project. Will be responsible Sonar configuration, Rules and Policy definitions and integrating Sonar with CI server Jenkins. Position reports to Director of Enterprise Platforms & Architecture, member of SonarQube implementation project team.  

 

Experienced developer with a minimum of 8 years' experience, with at least 5 years' experience implementing SonarSource's SonarQube at an enterprise level.  

Ability to configure and implement profiles, quality rules, and customizations for various development divisions using a variety of plug-ins.  

Experienced in creating and delivering training materials to development communities, preferably using train-the-trainer methodology.  

Able to facilitate the adoption of SonarQube across various business and technical teams.  

Must have proven success with enabling SonarQube dashboard with Jenkins continuous integration servers.  

Excellent team building, written and verbal communication skills required.  

Minimum of IT-related bachelor's degree with related certifications.

 
Must have skills: 
Strong experience with Sonar 
Strong experience with Jenkins 
Strong experiance with Java / J2EE and Maven 
Strong Unix scriptings skills. 

Preferred skills: 
Knowledge in Perl 
Knowledge in Groovy.
