Job Description:
The PM is needed by the Digital Commerce Solutions (DCS) team which specialize in enabling mobile commerce (smartphones), across all lines of business. They are about creating solutions. The group is made up of senior level experts (generally Director or higher), working on 4 or 5 major initiatives. The group works with large card excepting organizations (think big in fast food, big in gas stations).

 

 

 

PM Requirements:
Experience with Custom Development, preferably new solutions, not maintenance
Artifact development with strong people skills is critical - we are seeking
Experienced with Mobile technologies preferred (not required)
Not just a PM who is good at schedule and task management (like a project coordinator or admin,) but more overall project management, and adept at connecting dots across a geographically dispersed, Enterprise environment.
So tactical execution plus being good at all the major PM functions, like risk management, client interaction, keeping the team working towards the big picture.
If PMs fall on a scale between Logistics and Vision, this position leans more towards Vision.
The group and these projects will be new concepts and new programs. (think working with wet clay)
The PM must be good at the four tions- communication, Collaboration, Facilitation and Education.
Working directly on projects with major clients. Requires good discretion when representing the client. Must be savvy about what we can and cannot say.
Good with MS Office, Project and Visio. Clarity experience a plus.
Prior experience Financial Industry (knows the language) a plus.

 

This candidate has to have been an individual contributor. Does it all good. Not someone from a big PMO who has become highly specialized in one or two aspects of project management. (e.g. risk, or staffing)
Meeting with high level personnel, so know how to handle and respect them. Doesnt waste their time.
This group deals with other groups that work in both waterfall and hybrid agile, so some agile experience is needed. Experience with Version1 is a plus.
