Position: Data Analyst (Reference: 092314-NICHRI-IO30-O-BHAS)

Location: Washington, DC

Must Have's:

- Expertise in analyzing reports and decode mappings
- Strong experience working in Oracle, Sybase, MS SQL Server and MS Access databases
- Very good expertise in SQL, PL/SQL, T-SQL to perform data analysis
- Exposure to Business Objects
- Familiarity with tools like SQL PLUS, TOAD and SQL Developer
- Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into solutions
- Demonstrate excellent communication and technical presentation skills
- Experience in financial services/banking industry required; mortgage industry experience preferred
- Understands basic relational databases as well as user interface design.
- Prior experience in MS-Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Access), Visio
- Experience working on large data Integration projects

 

EDUCATION
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
4+ years of related experience

 

Description:

Data Analyst II gathers user requirements for database changes, analyzes database requirements, creates specifications for the ETL team to load the data to the database, participates in functional design sessions, creates and executes test scripts for the load of the database, and aids in the escalation/resolution of data issues. The candidate must be familiar with the development lifecycle and must be proficient in querying databases via SQL or other tools.
