Job Title: Business Architect  (Ref code: 091714-SECDAR-IO45-JOH)

 

Location: Washington, DC
Duration: 4 months+

 

 

 

Responsibilities: 

 

Produce Business Capability Models, Heat Maps assessing the strengths and weakness of the business capability and supporting technology capabilities, and supporting the business and product team in producing strategies and roadmaps to resolve issues identified on the heat maps.  

 

 

 

Required:

 

Must have demonstrated experience with website development, mobile applications and consumer tools.  

 

Strong analytical skills to determine the best path for solving customer and business problems that may include process improvement, system enhancement and/or tool procurement.

 

Proficient in the use of process modeling tools to create business architecture models demonstrating how business capabilities interact with products, operations and systems.

 

Ability to communicate complex ideas in succinct and simplistic language.

 

Ability to influence and guide across functional organization to solutions in accordance with enterprise architecture standards and principles.

 

Strong communication and organizational skills.  

 

Ability to communicate at the C-level.

 

Able to work both independently and in a team environment.

 

Ability to advance the development of business architecture as a key discipline in our software development lifecycle.

 

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite. 

 

 

 

Desired:

 

Healthcare experience preferred.

 

Experience with Provision and HP ALM.
