Position: Automation Tester (Ref code: 111413-KERJON-EX-IO38-JOH)

Location: Herndon, VA

Duration: 6 months

 

Description:

CANDIDATES MUST HAVE JAVASCRIPT CODING ABILITY

Candidate needs:
Mid to Senior level proven experience testing web applications. Strong integration testing skills (need to explain this)
Excellent team player with great communication/attitude
PROVEN Agile work experience with very solid experience in achieving acceptance criteria for user stories/tasks
Within Agile/Scrum, must have STRONG QA presence within team. Outside the box thinker
Ability to push back during sprint planning and not over commit (over capacity)
Aggressive enough to push back on developers when quality of code decreases within sprint
Solid/Proven Selenium RC/WebDriver/GRID experience coding automated test scripts from scratch (need coding background)
Prefer to have someone familiar with performing validation/regression/smoketests within lower environments
Experience with cloud architectures a plus (EC2/ RightScale)
Strong experience with web browsers (how they act and what they do)
Experience with testing web service architectures, SOA using soapUI
Knowledge of web development industry standards including SOAP, XML, REST
Nice to have, but not required - PHP using SimpleTest and working with Drupal CMS
Nice to have, but not required - Familiar with accessibility testing standards (WCAG AA/ARIA)

Also, will support project requiring:
Automated JavaScript Testing
Q Unit
JS Testing frameworks like Karma, Jasmine, Mocha
Automated build tools is a plus, Grunt, Jenkins.
