Skill set requirements:
· 10-12 years of demonstrated experience developing business applications using .NET and related
technologies
· Advanced skillset in .NET 4.0+/WCF Services/Biztalk/MSMQ/XML technologies
· Solid programming experience using C#/SQL/C
· Ability to analyze tradeoffs, communicate them effectively and make firm decisions
· Knowledge of multitude of technical domains such as security, workflow, CMS, rules, DW/BI and
experience in some of these
· Strong consulting mindset. Ability to meander through vague requirements or unchartered territory to
provide clarity and direction
· Excellent analytical skills and knowledge of software engineering fundamentals including algorithms and
data structures, compilers, databases etc.
· Excellent design skills and practical understanding of design patterns and object oriented principles
· Ability to create good design documentation (using UML, ER and other diagrammatic notations)
· Good knowledge and experience in at least one database (including a procedural DB programming
environment such as PL/SQL, T-SQL etc.)
· Knowledge of productivity tools including the optimal use of IDE's, automated unit tests and automated
code analysis tools
· Knowledge of the best practices around common cross cutting concerns and ability to think out of the
bo1x in recommending solid technical solutions
· Leadership and mentoring skills
Job responsibilities:
· Conduct research and feasibility studies to develop high level technical architecture and solutions
· Collaborate with the Business Analysis , Project Management and Quality Assurance teams around
project planning, estimation, and delivery activities
· Work with offshore technical teams to ensure proper understanding of the requirements
· Assist in detailed project plan development, scope definition, execution and change control
· Create, maintain, and implement Coding standards/Best practices that will be used by the team
· Analyze technical requirements and oversee the development of detailed technical document(s)
· Mentor team (including on-shore) on newer coding standards, best practices and architectural goals
· Ensure software is developed and documented according to the Design documents (flow diagrams,
proof-of-concepts, integration framework)
· Develop some of the most complex (and/or critical) pieces of code
· Implement a framework that optimizes code reviews – Peer, Lead, and Architect reviews
· Interface with the Infrastructure and release management group for software deployment
