The performance engineer is responsible for scripting and developing performance testing solution for testing a silverlight based Web Application and web services.
Relevant Experience (Yrs) : 6+ years experience in software development experience
Necessary Skills : · Expert in developing performance scripts using Loadrunner 11 or Application Lifecycle Management 11 for silverlight based web based as well as client server application
· Expert in developing performance scripts for .NET based web services
· Clear understanding of SOAP packet communication and performance test experience of SOAP services.
· Expert in writing XML queries
· Excellent visual, written, and verbal communication skills

Roles & Responsibilities : · Responsible for the creation and customization, of performance test scripts and libraries for a silverlight based application and web services.
· Responsible to load test SOAP packet communication.
· Responsible to evaluate XML Queries
· This is a highly specialized role requiring proven experience with scripting in the HP Performance Center (Load Runner 11) performance tool or Application Lifecycle Management 11.
· Evaluation, analysis and documentation of the performance test.
· Providing feedback to project team and management for current and future reference.
· Provide technical guidance to QA peers, developers and architects regarding the implementation of performance automation during the testing phase of the application.
· Develop performance library with focus on potential reuse.
· Create clear documentation to scripts for the benefit of peers who are not involved in the scripts' creation.
· Collaborate with support teams, architects, and developers on analyzing performance test results.
· Report findings constructively to application owners and to management.
