CREDIT TRADING DEVELOPER

Hands-on developer on a small focused technology team servicing the Credit Bond Trading
Business.

This individual would be responsible for;

Overall Responsibilities:
Development and Support of the High Yield Reporting / Position Management Platform. Role will include development of the front, middle and database tiers of this n-tier application.

{ Development of new software to specification
{ Design of new software components and services.
{ Maintenance of existing base of software for multiple front office applications.
{ Second-line support existing applications (i.e. escalation from support to development team)
{ Test Systems (e.g. unit, system, integration, stress, regression, migration.

The project is in-flight and this individual will be required to work with the established team. The core team is comprised of a Project Manager, a Technical Lead, a BA/QA, and 5 Developers. In addition, the role requires close coordination with outside ECNs and a number of impacted groups.

Processing, Position Management.

{ Develop and unit test code in a rapid moving and changing environment
{ Work with business analysts to understand user requirements and develop technical solutions.
{ Prepare technical code and support documentation for the delivered application components.

Well rounded individual with good all round technical skills and a good problem
solver.

Key technologies include C# .Net, IIS 6.0, MS SQL 2005
Experience in building Trading applications.
Experience in FIX protocol would be a plus
Experience of Bloomberg and Fixed Income instruments would be an advantage.
Bachelor of Computer Science or equivalent degree.
Excellent communication skills

5 years working in a Fixed Income trading systems and handling front office culture
Essential
{ Experience in developing Frameworks & middle-tier Integration Exp.
{ Experience in building Trading applications.
{ Excellent Communication Skills

Desirable
{ Knowledge of Market Connectivity, Bond trading, Matrix Pricing
and Risk & Analytics
{ Experience in FIX protocol
{ SDLC or similar software lifecycle methodologies
{ Experience in front-to-back processing of Bonds
{ Prefer candidates with around 12 to 15 years of total experience.
