Security Architect for our client in Philly, PA.
Job Summary
The Information and Infrastructure Security Architect will provide architectural leadership and guidance for our client in the area of Information and Infrastructure Security. The Architect will be responsible for establishing, maintaining and improving clients security Program, which includes but is not limited to implementing an enterprise wide information security strategy through the ownership of the architecture roadmap, adapting relevant security frameworks, participating in the development of a corporate information security architecture, developing Enterprise wide controls and conducting information security risk assessments. The Architect will work with other architects within company to ensure proper dynamic evolution and evolutional maturity of organizations Security Program in a fast-paced technology and business environment.
This position will be based out of Philadelphia, PA. The candidate will be responsible for providing security leadership for all product development coming out of our client.
The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in Information Security and preferred experience in VoIP and streaming video technologies as well as a strong networking and systems background. The candidate MUST have strong documentation, communication interpersonal and time management/multi-tasking skills.
Major Duties
Provide Information and Infrastructure Security leadership input into corporate and technology strategy processes to create value
Counsel technical leaders in Information and Infrastructure matters
Design and develop robust and scalable security controls and ensure the Enterprise wide implementation of these controls
Perform security architecture assessments and risk assessments for new projects, services and lines of business
Participate in the creation of security requirements, standards, policies and other security artifacts
Meet with senior technical leadership to communicate the effectiveness and maturity of security of business initiatives across large technical organizations
Advise on the evolution required for our clients Security Program to adapt to emerging technology, risks and threats
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or Information Security or equivalent professional experience
Certifications in security (CISSP), assurance (CISA) or networking (CCNP) preferred
Skills and Experience
Minimum ten years of leadership experience in information security related roles which may include architecture, risk management, network security
Strong technology background required. Experience with global information security practices, large converged networks, software, diverse application set including databases, and hardware
Understanding of legal, regulatory and compliance needs
Strong presentation skills, decision making, negotiation, strategic thinking and planning
Experience and presence to interact with and present to executive management and other internal and external stakeholders
Adept at thought leadership and proposing, implementing and managing business and technical change
Ability to invoke and leverage resources across the company to meet program objectives
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact and influence staff at all levels
Must be organized, detailed-oriented, self-motivated, disciplined, professional and a team player
Experience in service provider or cable industry a plus
Experience with voice, data, video, wireless technology a plus
