Job Description:
The Expert MySQL Database Administrator architects, creates, maintains, designs, monitors and troubleshoots Acxiom or client databases. They use specific relational database management systems, develop and implement database recovery mechanisms and procedures, and coordinate security measures to safeguard database integrity.

What you will need:
8+ years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 5+ years related experience with a Master's degree
Complex Problem Solving Skills
Effective and Clear Communication and Documentation Skills
Ability to multi-task
Deep knowledge and experience with Clustering techniques and technologies
Deep knowledge and experience with Replication techniques and technologies
Deep knowledge and experience with UNIX and Windows Shell and related scripting languages (Bash, Korn, Perl, Python, PHP)
Expert at Database Administration, Security, Capacity Planning, Disaster Recovery and Performance Tuning
In-depth Logical/Physical Database Design
Ability to work independently

Experienced in one or more of the following database management systems: Oracle RAC and/or DataGuard, SQL Server
AlwaysOn, MongoDB, Cassandra
