Job Description:
*** This requires exceptional hands-on experience with Payroll and Core HR - Payroll is CRITICAL! Candidates must have strong communication skills and experience working with end-users for design enhancements. In addition, this is a LEAD role: the Developer will be mentoring a junior Programmer ***
In this role the selected individual will interact with customers in refining requirements, producing technical
designs, resolving problems and managing support issues.
The resource will work within a small team to support large-scale production issues, enhance existing code/develop new code and test production fixes. A techno/functional background is critical.
REQUIRED:
· 8 years' experience with Bachelors in EE, CS, Math or Related Field; MS/MBA desirable.
· In-depth technical knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM 9.1 or 9.2
· SQR, PeopleTools 8.5.2 – 8.5.4, PeopleCode and SQL development and testing experience
· STRONG Customization experience
· Functional knowledge of HR systems with specific emphasis on Pension, Benefits and Payroll
· Experience troubleshooting user-reported incidents and managing such incidents to closure
· Proven experience developing unit, integration, system, and regression test plans
· Experience supporting the business analysts in developing functional and user acceptance test plans
· Ability to analyze and manage multiple complex systems development projects
Preferred:
· Experience with a Government client that has had a lot of changes and customization is ideal.
