Description:

The SAP BI Support Senior Analyst will be part of the SAP COE. Will interface heavily with SAP BI User Community and other BT Functions (Enabling Functions, Global Supply and Commercial) to ensure SAP BI support is provided. Key Responsibilities Support for level 2 and 3 tickets for BW/BO Response and solve tickets according with agreed SLA Analysing written specifications and change requests to determine technical implementation Implement and document minor enhancements for BW/BO reports Implement low complexity new BW/BO reports Working in international environment Responsible for root cause analysis and provide solutions for production issues. Key Deliverables Issue resolution Ticket management User Communication Training Functional design documentation Solution design, development, testing and deployment Data Load Monitoring Performance Tuning Testing BEx & BO report Development Client Management Ensure customer expectations have been met through delivery and ongoing execution of services Gather and analyze business requests to determine how best to create successful resolution for new requests and issues Help consumers understand service offerings available from internal IT service providers and secure appropriate resources for projects, engaging with the business, and facilitating service delivery Follow governance processes that facilitate business prioritization and align with BT Facilitate technology initiatives which directly impact clients portfolio Align BT services with current and future needs of the business and its customers while improving quality of services delivered Education: Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience in Technical or Business field required MS or MBA preferred Experience: 7 years or more of SAP BW/BO support experience Demonstrated ability to work across organizational regional and global boundaries, ability to multitask and manage multiple projects in a cross-divisional and cross-functional environment Ability to work independently, effectively coordinating multiple priorities in a dynamic and changing environment and also in a team-oriented, collaborative environment, in some cases under extreme duress Adept at understanding customer challenges, navigating from problem to resolution and communicating process and resolution effectively both verbally and in writing Demonstrated ability to interact comfortably with all levels of management and staff Experience in life sciences / pharmaceuticals industry preferred Skills: Expert technical and functional knowledge of SAP BI required Experience with SAP Business Objects preferred Understanding of technical integration of SAP Systems Knowledge of shared service type/centres of excellence operations preferred Excellent written, oral and presentation skills Fluency in English (written and spoken) is a must Customer focus ABAP experience preferred.
