Location: Reston, VA (Local Candidates preferred)

Duration: 6+ Months contract

Testing Skills:

Experience with Functional Testing and Development of test scripts

Understanding of Defect Management process

Experience with testing administration tools (rational, CQ, etc.)

Experience with Java/JavaScript

Experience with Java/JavaScript a must have.

Job Description:

Conduct performance testing.

Provide expertise in the planning, constructing and execution of test scripts.

Apply business and functional knowledge including testing standards, guidelines, and testing methodology to meet the team's overall test objectives.

Ensure all testing results are easily accessible and understandable.

Track defects to closure and keep defect repository up-to-date.

Technical Skills Required:

Application Design & Architecture Advanced

HP Software (Mercury) - LoadRunner Advanced

Performance Testing Tools & Techniques Advanced

Jmeter Proficient

Performance Testing Tools & Techniques Proficient

Technical Test Planning-Preparation-Execution - Performance Testing Proficient

Education:

Bachelors Degree (4 year) from an accredited institution
