Job Title: Peoplesoft Application Lead (060514-SHRKAP-IO40-E-RAJ)

Location: OAKLAND, CA

Duration: 1 Year contract

Duties of this position include the following:

Execute and oversee maintenance of the computing environment by identifying PeopleSoft system requirements; installing upgrades; monitoring system performance.

Establish and manage PeopleSoft system specifications by conferring with functional resources; analyzing workflow, access, information, and security requirements; designing system infrastructure.

Work with Information Technology Services (ITS) Partners to maintain PeopleSoft system performance by performing system monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning; troubleshooting system hardware, software, networks and operating and system management systems; designing and running system load/stress testing; escalating application problems to vendor.

Establish and test fault tolerance of enterprise applications to comply with disaster recovery policies and procedures.

Provide guidance on best practices for system updates and upgrades by conferring with ITS staff and services; developing, testing, evaluating, and installing enhancements and new software.

Manage third-party tools for PeopleSoft such as WebLogic, Tuxedo, Cobol, Crystal for AIX/Linux and Windows

Provide technical administration and migration support for non-production PeopleSoft environments

Collaborate with PeopleSoft Technical Analysts/Developers to resolve system and application issues

Actively participate on the remediation of risks identified during periodic penetration testing, known vulnerabilities, etc.

Manage and maintain the integration infrastructure between PeopleSoft Interaction Hub, HCM, and third-party applications.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training

5+ years of experience in application administration of PeopleSoft with multiple interfaces to other systems (PeopleSoft Portal/Interaction Hub, third party applications, etc.)

Application and PeopleTools Upgrade experience including development of roadmaps and project plans

Hands-on knowledge of PeopleSoft 9.1 or above, PeopleTools 8.5.x, Integration Broker, the Component Interface, and Oracle Databases, PL/SQL

Working knowledge and experience with PeopleSoft technologies such as PeopleSoft Update Manager, Change Assistance, Integration Broker, and Secure Enterprise Search.

Experience with third-party migration tools of PeopleSoft objects between environments

Working knowledge of network and server infrastructure and architecture.

Preferred Qualifications:

PeopleSoft Technical certification

Experience working with cloud-based service providers e.g. PaaS, SaaS, ASPs, etc.

Experience with Dell Stat SCM toolset

Experience with administration of OBIEE and Hyperion Planning applications
