Job Title: Infrastructure Tool Admin (060314-DEARUB-IO39-E-RAJ)

Description:
Work as a tool administrator for Checkpoint Endpoint Security tool. he tool administrator plans, coordinates and implements the product upgrades and maintenance, troubleshoot system related problems, and will be responsible for the overall availability of the tools infrastructure and the environment. Other responsibilities include maintaining the tools roadmaps, presenting technical briefing to the support staff, developers and the management.
Specific duties include:
Coordinate/perform major system upgrades and patches for monitoring infrastructure.
Maintain configuration data, user access and control within all applications.
Setup governance model for application monitoring
Maintain the production/ DEV / UAT and testing environment
Serve as subject matter expert (SME).
Perform minor customization and develop interfaces if required.
Conduct annual BCP exercises. Assist with capacity and disaster recovery planning and execution.
Work closely with UNIX and Storage administrators for routine operations such as performance tuning, upgrades and backup.
Manage vendor relationships with Eracent (acquiring new patches, upgrades and promotes industry best practices)
Maintain Service level agreements with both customer and support organizations.
Maintain licenses and provides monthly metrics on the tool usage.
Maintain and document Data Profiles/ Engineering and architecture.
Coordinate the Prod/Non-Prod infrastructure deployments.
Support the third tier support call.
Completes/Follows/Maintain the segregation of duties (SOD), Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and/or audit compliance.
Troubleshoot and provide support for various monitoring tools.
Successful candidate should possess the following qualifications:
3+ years working with Checkpoint Security tool.
2+ years of working with Virtual VMWare environment
6+ years working with Application management
6+ years of progressive IT experience.
Application Development background
Strong System administration skills (Unix).
Strong Scripting experience (Perl/Shell)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to work effectively in a team environment.
