Location: NYC Contract: 1 year SCOPE OF SERVICES Responsibilities: -Application Architecture Review and Planning -Validation of technical requirements -Define and implementation of application architecture. -Confirmation of architecture plans through prototyping -Ensuring proper use of current technical resources for completion of project -Conduct code reviews of the system being developed -Assist in testing efforts, perform unit testing and fixes during testing phase -Create/document deployment and operational procedures -Communicating risks and issues to project management Deliverables: -Weblogic platform design document -Weblogic Cluster design document -Weblogic deployment document -Application readiness testing document -Weblogic performance tuning document Mandatory Skills / Experience: - At least 7+ years extensive experience in Designing, Implementation and Deployment of different types of middleware platforms preferably Weblogic (9, 10 and 11) platform in a large distributed environments. - Experience in deploying WebLogic 10g/11g in a virtualized environment preferably VMware. - Work closely with the development and infrastructure team. - Strong background in JAVA programming - Experience with Oracle databases a plus. - Experience with Oracle Web Center suite. - Strong working knowledge of Redhat linux is a must. - Extensive experience with Apache, Sun One, Oracle HTTP, LDAP, Messaging. - Strong working experience with automation, deployments and scripting. - Experience in configuration, setups, scripting, management, provisioning, monitoring and performance tuning of Weblogic J2ee application platform. - Experience in establishing best practices, methodologies and standards related to the shared hosting and deployment of Weblogic J2EE Application server technology. - Experience in Java, j2EE, and core Java packages. - Experience with High-Availability architecture - Proficient in articulating and documenting the application architecture vision. - Strong management, collaboration and team building skills and demonstrated experience working with both technical and non-technical staff. - Excellent analytic, organizational, and facilitation skills, with proven ability to manage multiple tasks, resolve or escalate issues and risk, direct priorities, all under tight deadlines. - Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to operate across multiple tasks concurrently and assume the responsibility for the appropriate technical and architectural implementation of projects. - Self-motivated professional who takes initiative and works well in a team environment with the ability to meet deadlines. | | | |
