Systems Administrator: Sun Solaris, Red Hat Linux(Ref code:41112RicFur)

Location: SAN FRANCISCO, California

Duration: 6+ months

GC /Citizens  preferred ( H1 transfers could be considered)

Job Requirements:

7-10 years experience with Solaris 10, Red Hat and Middleware .
7-10 years experience in Administration and Engineering with Linux/Unix/Solaris (Solaris/10 and Redhat Linux) within large-scale Infrastructure and Production environments and their standards.

Areas of expertise:
Solaris and Red Hat OS, including Virtualization
SUN Hardware
Web logic, especially 10.3 and newer, Tomcat/Apache a plus X86 Hardware a plus
Implementing High Available Systems.

Key Skills:

Very good understanding of Solaris OS and Hardware, including Sun LDOMs and Containers.
Ability to evaluate new technologies and recommend changes to existing standards. .
Very good understanding of Red Hat Linux.
Knowledge of VMWare .
Understanding Weblogic design and best practices.
Knowledge of Java.
Ability to design and run POCs to certify tools before they enter into our production environment. .
Very strong documentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
You will be expected to document and communicate your projects to multiple groups at all steps along the way in order to ensure agreement. .
Ability to comprehend complex issues and effectively communicate at all levels of the organization. .
Self-starter with desire to understand work and project objectives, not just executes. . Have strong customer service skills that help deliver quality results in a demanding environment. .
Ability to manage stress and remain professional in a rapidly changing environment. . Ability to creatively solve problems and implement solutions and technologies
