Senior SQL SERVER DBA  ( 714 RARA)

       Experience in design, setup, installation and implementation of SQL Server 2008 databases in large scale environments

          Implement SQL Server disaster recovery scenarios

          Experience in routine data maintenance: Re-indexing, integrity checks, log file monitoring, create backups, restores, jobs, and database security

          Experience in performance tuning: Indexing, compression drive distribution and load balancing

Create and enforce design standards for data architectural deliverables, extract rules, transformations, and set ETL standards for tools, methods and documentation

 

          Ensure consistency across implementations for data integrity and define, implement data archive/purge standards.

          Experience with multi-SQL Server 2008 administration, named instances, active/active clusters, and storage area network (SAN)

          Extensive knowledge of T-SQL (procedures, triggers, functions), SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Replication, SQL Server Reporting Services

          Familiar with server virtualization and SQL Server 2008 R2 features
