Location:Owing Mills MD.

Duration: 6 months.

Rate : $65/hr

This is not a C2C position.

Job Purpose:
Responsible for the storage configuration and operations management, along with daily storage management tasks in a complex environment. The environment contains multiple platforms of NetApp and EMC hardware and software as well as other infrastructure products.


Duties:
Responsible for ongoing and daily configuration and management of storage infrastructure.
Perform required storage maintenance according to NetApp/EMC best practices.
Perform data migration tasks as required.
Participate in capacity planning and DR planning as needed.
Develops documents and enforces standards for storage support and management.
Installs patches and upgrades.
Analyze and resolve problems of high complexity
Research and recommend alternative actions for problem resolution.
Carry and respond promptly to an on-call pager on a rotation basis with other Storage Admins.



Skills/Qualifications:
Advanced knowledge of NetApp storage systems, i.e. Data ONTAP, Data Fabric Manager, etc.
Advanced knowledge of EMC storage systems.
Switch zoning and configuration of Brocade/Cisco products.
Advanced understanding of the components of SAN and NAS storage.
