SAP NETWEAVER/BASIS ADMINISTRATOR - (6+Years)
Duration: 1 year to extent.
Washington DC .

Rate $75/hr.

Prefer GC/Citizens/EAD or H1 transfers.

General Requirements:
Performs SAP Installations and Upgrades
Support the application teams in troubleshooting of problems in SAP development systems
Daily monitoring and investigation of the System Log for unusual activities/errors/warnings.
Application of Support Packages as agreed to by the organizations business stakeholders
Client copies and/or refreshes as agreed to by the organizations business stakeholders
Troubleshooting analysis of application problems within the Functional and Development streams
Knowledge and experience in using SAP Solution Manager and Wily Introscope in root cause analysis of SAP systems
Application of Java/ABAP kernel upgrades and SP's.
Serve as liaison to software vendors
Maintain current and accurate documentation of systems configuration and operational processes
Follow ITIL processes for incident management, change management and problem management
Compliance with ISO 20000 and ISO 27001 standard processes

Specific Requirements:

Education: 4 (or 5) year Bachelors Degree
6+ years relevant experience as a SAP Basis Netweaver Administrator in managing SAP systems

Experience in upgrading SAP systems (to ECC 6.0) and Unicode migration is required
Experience in support/upgrade of SAP using ORACLE database is required
Familiarity with SAP Basis tasks in UNIX environment is required

SAP Netweaver system administration certification is a plus
Familiarity with OpenText/IXOS is a plus
Familiarity with SAP XI/PI messaging infrastructure is a plus
Relevant experience in use of ITIL processes
Relevant experience for ICFR/SOX control compliance of critical financial systems
Effective interpersonal and communication skills
Willingness to work on flexible working hours including weekends
