Job description

Senior data Architect with investment banking exp

• To development and maintain the bank’s information architecture by creating data architecture strategies and developing the associated roadmaps and high level plans.

• Formulate the standards, processes and procedures to align with the data architecture for major application projects.

• Review the data and technology architecture design of key application projects to ensure alignment with the enterprise standards and target architecture/roadmap.

• Support various project teams in data analysis, data modeling and data architecture related topics and provides guidance and mentoring to IT development staff in data related areas.

• Understand the needs of business units and assist in the development of technology roadmaps with an emphasis on data.

• Contribute to technical studies to develop new technology strategies and architectural standards and methodologies.

Qualification Requirements

• Computer Science or Computer Engineering degree or above in related IT discipline.

• Additional business or finance degree

• Investment banking exp

Working Experience

5-10 years industry experience across all aspects of systems development, technology strategy creation, and management with an emphasis on data.

• 5 yrs experience in Financial Markets and familiarity with Front Office Trade Booking Systems and Product Control functions.

• Familiarity with Balance Sheets, Income Statement and Accounting Standards.

• Proven analytical capability and thorough working knowledge of modeling and model management for ER- and UML-based models.

• Exposure to key data standards and trends in financial services.

• At least 4+ years of extensive experience in working on the following tasks:

• Enterprise data architecture management

• Data warehouse, data mart, ETL/ELT and Business Intelligence technologies

• Engaging with senior people within business, operations, and technology

• Experience on data interface protocols, tools and standards, and familiarity with Data Delivery/Integration Tools.

• Strong understanding of the relationships between processes, data and technology.
