Description:
The project requires the modification of both the enterprise header and footer and the application of Google Analytic staging on multiple Java J2EE applications. The consultant will be responsible for applying the web analytics tags, the header and the footer and resolving any resulting issues. Additional work may include supporting the migration of applications to the TAM (Tivoli Access Manager) platform as well as the integration of our SSO platform w/mobile applications. In addition, the consultant will be responsible for unit testing the modifications.

Service Type: Java Web Development

Primary Responsibility:
Resource will be responsible for development outlined above.

Essential Background and Experience:

Broad technical skills necessary, with a solid understanding of internet/intranet technology.
Minimum 3 years of development experience developing with Java J2EE specifically JSPs and other web technologies on Websphere Application Server required.
Minimum of 3 years of front end development technologies including HTML, CSS and JavaScript required.
Knowledge of UX best practices preferred.
Experience using Struts, Ajax and Hibernate frameworks preferred.
Ability to do medium programming, program debugging, data analysis, problem analysis, and resolution of issues within application systems. Knowledge and understanding of the concepts and techniques of structured programming and design is necessary. Requires support and guidance only occasionally.
Experience with TAM integration a plus.
Ability to work well with people from many different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience and varying levels within the organization. Demonstrated ability to work well within a team of application developers (and occasionally lead portions of the project or tasks).
Ability to create and execute effective unit test plans required.
Experience with Subversion and JIRA a plus.
Ability to effectively express complex technical concepts verbally and in writing preferred Strong listening, written and oral communication skills preferred.

Functions/Responsibilities:

Responsible for presenting the solution to project stakeholders.
Responsible for development of the technical solution.
Responsible for unit testing the technical solution.
Responsible for resolving identified defects if required.
Responsible for knowledge transfer activities such as discussions and documentation as required.
Participation in team activities as required such as the review of the functional and technical design documentation, weekly status meetings, etc.
Submit weekly time and status reports in accordance with requirements.
