Requirements:

8+ years of hands-on experience designing, documenting, and communicating data models of varying complexity as a member of a project team.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, decision support, information engineering, business administration, or other related discipline.

Master's degree in a related discipline is a plus.
Experience with Healthcare Insurance Data sets and familiarity with industry Healthcare Data Models.
Experience of working with Health Insuarance (Payer) organizations or a highly related field including knowledge of HL7 and / or related Claims, Enrollment, and Benefits Administration industry data models and / or taxonomies a plus.

Excellent communication skills and ability and understanding of communications with different levels of team and management.

 

Skills:

Familiarity with Data modeling tools such as Erwin.
Familiarity with Hadoop ecosystem (i.e. HBase, Hive, MapReduce, etc.) and Relational databases (i.e. DB2, SQL Server, etc.)

Microsoft Office Suite.
