Title: Sybase DBA (42116- KYCR -IO32.5-REST)

Location:  Reston, VA

Duration: 12+ months

Requirement:

3 - 5 years of professional experiences in Sybase administration.

Prefers ( 4 -5 years) Hands on Sybase replications. 

Work experience in both system and application DBA.

Provide technical expertise in database area throughout the life cycle of the projects such as preparing database objects, refreshing databases from production to lower environment, migrating database objects from one environment to the other in accordance to SDLC.

Maintain database operation environment with SOX compliance and adhere to corporate policy. 

Requires occasional off hour and weekend work.

Must have Sybase Replication Experience, Unix, strong communication skills, and multi-tasking.

Preferred skills :

Oracle, SQL Server, SDLC/IDLC, data warehouse experience.
