Duration: 12+ months
Requirements:
Participate as a team member integrating and configuring HP Sitescope into enterprise monitoring systems to detect, correlate, and report faults from infrastructure and application components. Developer performs complex analysis, design, development, documentation, and unit testing.
Specific duties include:
• Develop interfaces across multiple management interfaces for the automated provisioning/de-provisioning of monitors for the centralized monitoring system.
• Work closely with business application groups to understand and prioritize their requirements. • Ability to leverage API interfaces to support streamlined integration across various platforms.
Technical Skill Requirements:
Enterprise monitoring and management technologies:

• Monitored environments: SUSE Linux, Solaris, Oracle, Sybase, DNS, Web firewalls, fireproofs, load balancers, global load balancers, portals.
• Microsoft Office tools (Project, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word).
• Strong working knowledge of TCP/IP and SNMP Management Protocols.
• Demonstrated Strong knowledge of Linux and Oracle.
Programming and scripting:
• Desirable: Java Script, PERL, PERL DBI, Java, HTTP, XML, SOAP
• Desirable: BOURNE/KORN/C-shell; UNIX platform skills
• Desirable: SNMP; MIB-II
• Desirable: SQL query language
• Desirable: Oracle Platform experience
Personal Skills:
• Strong technical leadership skills.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and persistence.
