ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The person in this role will research, design, develop, and modify enterprise-wide SharePoint 2010/2013 systems and be involved in planning of the system, development, and deployment and meeting software compliance standards.
This includes the evaluation of interfaces between hardware and software, operational requirements and
characteristics of our overall enterprise system. Incumbent must have the ability to clearly discuss and define requirements not only including the design, but also diagnosis and resolution of deployment and system problems.
-Incumbent has ability to effectively and efficiently troubleshoot any issues utilizing all tools and resources
available.
-Partners with system administrators, SQL database administrators, network engineers and other counterparts to manage the overall health of the SharePoint farm(s).
-Responsible for performance monitoring and tuning of the Corporate SharePoint sites.
-Documenting application configuration, installation, incident reports and resolutions.
-Participate in full lifecycle projects of SharePoint implementations while also performing Project Management tasks (manage projects, schedules, collect requirements, etc.).
-Manage application deployments, including web-parts/apps, InfoPath forms, publishing pages all while adhering to client's Change Control policies.
-Perform application maintenance. Remains current with Programmer/Analyst functions and assists when necessary.
-Expected to have strong experience in SharePoint 2010 & 2013 development, SharePoint Designer, SharePoint Administration, JavaScript, HTML, jQuery, InfoPath and CSS. Additional skills listed below:
- Expertise with Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2010/2013 platform, Office 2010/2013, Windows SharePoint Services Development/Business Analysis/Administration, SharePoint Document Center, Customization and Configuration of Web Parts, KPI's, Master Pages, Active Directory Integration, Templates, and Site Definitions.
- Strong training and customer service skills
- Relational database implementation and integration
- Internet/legacy system/client-server architectures
- Knowledge of MSS (Microsoft Search Server)
- Clear written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work in a collaborative, multi-cultural environment with respect for all.
- Ability to translate information, develop insights, and work alongside clients at client sites
- Ability to be a self-starter and thrive in a fast-paced environment
