Job Title: Peoplesoft Technical Specialist (Ref Code: 3/28/12 KRTC)

Duration: 4 Months
Our client is seeking a PeopleSoft Global Payroll Functional Analyst for the duration of 5 months on consulting basis to work with our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The qualified consultant will become part of the HR System Renewal Project to Re-implement PeopleSoft HCM 9.1 along with Global Payroll implementation.
This position requires flexibility, creativity and initiative. Candidates should be self-starters who enjoy working with an international team of people. Candidates must be able to multi-task their workload assignments. Candidates must be fluent in spoken and written English, have strong writing and communication skills, and be team players.
Responsibilities include
Able to take a high level objective and deliver results with minimal supervision.
Has high level of confidence, maturity, and commitment, and who has demonstrated the drive to achieve and succeed in previous work experiences.
Work closely with the Peoplesoft Functional leads and end users to understand business needs and requirements and prepare the functional and technical design documentation for the identified Gaps.
Assist the client in the implementation planning, fit analysis,configuration, testing, and roll out of Global Payroll.
Gather and analyze requirements through personal research, interviews, analysis of supporting documentation and business process descriptions and use cases.
Decompose high-level business and user-defined requirements into system functional/technical requirements and design documents.
Complete requirements analysis and verification; ensure that requirements statements are complete, consistent, traceable, unambiguous, feasible and verifiable.
Participate with team members in prioritization of identified requirements.
Participate in peer reviews and inspections of requirements documents.
Manage requirements traceability information and assist tracking the status of requirements and ensure the solution meets the business requirement.
Develop effective testing plans and scripts, as well as defining expected results for all tests.
Provide overall support to ensure the successful design, testing and implementation of the products.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
Minimum of 2+ years of experience with PeopleSoft technology
Minimum of 4+ years of experience gathering requirements
Good experience with Peoplesoft Global Payroll, working knowledge with
Global Payroll Rules, arrays, formulas, brackets, variables, etc.
Excellent listening, analytical, oral and written communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Familiarity with various process modeling techniques (activity hierarchy diagrams, data flow diagrams, sequence diagrams, workflow diagrams, system interface diagrams)
Excellent functional documentation skills
Ability to organize work, prioritize tasks and manage multiple and changing priorities
Ability to work as a member of a team or independently as requested
Basic familiarity with PeopleSoft Human Capital Management
