ETL Consultant/Informatica VERSION 8 or above

Location :Owing Mills,MD

Duration 8 months to extend

H1 and C2C is ok but GC/CITIZENS and EAD preferred.

Rate :$60/hr


       

Sr. Programmer Analyst - ETL Consultant/Informatice VERSION 8 or above

Responsibilities

Working as Senior Data Analyst in Data Governance & Stewardship team.
Working with Data Architects and ETL team to make sure data models meets CareFirsts requirement along with Governance lead and Business users.
Meeting with Business SMEs and understand current systems and reporting needs.
Reviewing Data Model, Data Dictionary, Mapping Document, DDL etc..
Analyzing existing report and document for each Department.
Creating Mapping document for Data Element from Reports to EDW and to EDM.
Data profiling for EDW table(one of source system for Model Office)
Analyze data and create reports.
Involved in Creating test cases and test plan for EDM.
Coordinate for EDM testing for different subject area.

Environment: Windows XP, Informatica 8.1, Oracle 10g as Database (PL/SQL), UNIX, Hyperion, Verisk




Job Description: Actual duration is 6 months ( extendable for good performance)
Besides development, the resource must have a minimum of 3 years experience and have actively worked on Informatica version 8. Additionally, they should be able to mentor Jr. Developers and act as an ETL lead for their projects. Conduct reviews to ensure ETL programs conform to standards and good design principles. Ensure data definitions, mappings and processes are documented according to standards. Unix scripting, data modeling and solicitation of requirements is a plus.
