Python Developer

Reston, VA (remote to start until after COVID)

Duration: 12+ months

Job Responsibilities:

- Responsible for build and deployment of applications, with focus on building features quickly using automated processes

- Leverage industry best practices to design, test, implement and support a solution

- Assure quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area

- Write automated tests

- Adapt to change quickly and adjust work accordingly in a positive manner

- Maintain and Monitor CI/CD pipelines

- Support testing and deployment activities. Assist in the preparation of System, Integration and User Acceptance Tests

- Respond to support calls for applications in production, as needed to assist L2 support team

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required

- 5+ years experience required

- Python experience required

- Automated tests and DevOps tools experience (e.g.Jenkins, Selenuim, Cucumber, Urban Code)

- Hands on experience in designing, developing and successful deployment of large scale projects from end-to-end

- Hands on experience in following the iterative and agile methodology

- PingFederate or related IAM/Authentication/Authorization experience is a plus

- AWS experience is a plus

- Java experience is a plus
