Position: Lead Java Developer (12015-NIKHRI-IO42-O-RAJ)
Location: Herndon, Virginia
Duration: 6+ months

Description:
• Looking for a strong Development Lead with significant experience in architecture, design and developing web applications and web services
• Must have minimum of 10 years of experience with Java, J2EE, JDK 1.6 and above
• Must have experience in Agile and Waterfall development methodologies.

  Experience as a Scrum Master is a plus.
• Must have hands-on experience in Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) and Enterprise Messaging
• Must have prior experience in leading and/or managing a team
• Must have strong experience using the following technologies:
• Spring Core, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Integration, Spring Web Services and Hibernate
• EasyMock, JUnit, Spring Test, SOAP UI and Selenium
• ANT, Maven, Nexus, Jenkins
• Subversion, ClearCase, and ClearQuest
• UNIX and shell scripting
• SOAP, REST, XML, JSON, WSDL, XSD
• SQL, PL/SQL, Sybase and Oracle
• Must have strong programming and analytical skills
• Must have strong communication skills, both oral and written
• Ability to learn quickly and take on challenges
• Ability to guide, mentor, and lead a team
• Ability to create standards and guidelines for design and coding, and govern the team to ensure that the standards and guidelines are followed
• High integrity and accountability; willing to do what it takes to make the team successful

 

• Experience with any of the following is a plus:
• Gemfire, TIBCO EMS, Business Works, Sonar, CSS, Production Support of Business Critical Applications, HTML, JSP, Java Script with third party
frameworks such as JQuery, BackBone, SlickGrid, Require.js, Jake, Skylus and Node
