We need to have someone who has actively supported Hadoop based systems or has been a Hadoop administrator as well as have strong SQL skills

5+ years of experience in software industry with at least 3 years in software technical support. Saas support experience preferred

Job Title: Cloud Engineers - Cloud Foundry A Big +
Location: San Ramon, CA

The ideal candidates will have:

BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, cloud/online service engineering/automation or cloud/online service operations
Deep experience with at least one third generation automation and configuration management solution such as Chef
Advanced scripting skills using Python and Bash Experience with implementing monitoring tools such as Nagios, Graphite, Zabbix, etc
Demonstrated expertise with Continuous Delivery from code check-in through build and automate deployment to cloud environments

 

Helpful skills are:

Minimum of 3 years experience engineering cloud/online services at massive scale, including large scale SQL/NoSQL services

Job Title: Technical Writer

Responsibilities:

Research, implement, and customize DITA authoring tools that increase the efficiency and productivity of the Information Development team.
Work with the Information Development team and other stakeholders to design and develop an online, collaborative content creation and review system.
Assist in defining requirements and designing new features for the current end to end authoring solution.
Develop expertise with DITA-OT to write transforms and/or scripts to automate building documentation deliverables (HTML, PDF, or other formats).
Become trained to administer the Astoria CMS.
Troubleshoot issues and provide technical support to writers during the authoring and publishing process
Champion the depth and breadth of the content, being a stickler for details without losing sight of the customer experience.

Qualifications / Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Technical Communications, English Studies, or "STEM" Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics).
7+ years of experience in the technical writing industry, preferably software.

Desired Characteristics

Strong XML and XSLT development skills preferred.
