Location: Rockville, Md



The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated individual with deep analytical and problem solving skills, and have hands-on experience utilizing MicroStrategy's advanced reporting and analytical tools to support the implementation of data presentation and decision-making BI projects. As a member of the Business Intelligence Team, you will be part of a fast-paced environment committed to delivering critical strategic and operating insights to key business executives and decision makers. You will utilize MicroStrategy to tap into AARP's data resources and build an essential library of standard and custom reports. Teamwork is essential as this position involves extensive interaction and collaboration with members of the AARP business units and Business Intelligence Team. This role requires a positive, enthusiastic, results-oriented professional with excellent attention to details, a passion for owning and producing top-quality deliverables, and a disciplined work ethic for meeting deadlines and commitments.

Job Requirements:
* Strong Data Modeling and Dimensional Modeling experience. The person will be responsible for developing data-marts on which Dashboards will be developed.
* Develop and maintain MicroStrategy reports, dashboards and end-user applications.
* Design, develop and implement BI systems enabling non-technical users to leverage data for strategic decision-making.
* Utilize various MicroStrategy reporting tools to deliver insights to targeted audiences (e.g., Narrowcast, Web Reporter, Web Analyst, Wed Professional, Report Services).
* Stay up to speed on the latest MicroStrategy technologies and facilitate plans to incorporate new features in overall product usage to help leverage the maximum benefit from MicroStrategy investment.
* Be involved in full lifecycle development and implementation of AARPs BI reporting and analytical services.
* Develop ad hoc interfaces enabling end-users to generate their own reports.
* Perform extensive QA on data and MicroStrategy reports.
* Resolve user-identified functional and technical issues relating to Data Mart and MicroStrategy reporting services.
* Create, test and troubleshoot reports
* Communicate with the business when necessary

Minimum Requirements:
* This position requires a BA/BS in Computer Science, Math, Physics, Engineering, Economics or related field
* Microstrategy certification preferred.
* 8-10 years experience in a technical/analytical role
* 5 years of report development, administration, and implementation experience using MicroStrategy version 7 or higher.

Quality Assurance Tester for SAP


SAP Quality Assurance Tester :

Location : Washington DC.

Diration: 6 months:


- Test the Company code, SL and document posting requirements
- Guide developers and help them to understand the issues/bugs/ testing results
- Prepare all the necessary documents needed to substantiate the test results and related testing requirements.
- Prepare test cases for the selected functions in SAP
- Develop scripts for each of the test cases
- Test Code developed using Standards and Guidelines for scripting
- Follow up on the bugs identified and improvements needed in the application

Required Skills:

- Excellent knowledge in Accounting and Finance
- Excellent knowledge in SAP modules (FI/CO, SL, FM, MM etc)
- The candidate must possess either an MS/MA in Computer Science or an equivalent combination of education and experience, BS/BA is a minimal educational requirement. 8-10 years of QA, Test and development experience
- Work independently and a self starter
- Should have prior SAP testing experience in FI/CO, FM and MM modules
- Candidate should have excellent knowledge in the following SAP functionalities
- Sub ledger
- General Ledger
- Document Posting
- Validations against posting requirements
- Financial Reporting- Balance Sheet , Trial Balance, Cash Flow and Income Statement
- Different objects used in FI, FM and CO modules
- Tables and relations between different modules for posting validations
- Excellent knowledge in testing the interfaces between SAP and other systems
- Knowledge of all ABAP workbench objects and transaction used
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in financial technology and Banking & Financial domain experience along with knowledge of investment banking, Portfolio accounting systems & trading application

Mid Level Healthcare Project Manager 
Baltimore 
Duration 6 months. 

Responsibilities: 
* Determines Project goals and priorities with management, program manager and/or project sponsors. 
* Supports requirements of the enterprise program manager to provide necessary information and support for successful program delivery. 
* Creates all project planning documentation and follows all CareFirst Defined processes. 
* Establish and publish clear priorities among project activities. Coordinates team activities to meet project milestones. 
* Prepares, implements, monitors, and updates the project plan. 
* Coordinates with the business owner and upper level management to ensure the actions are consistent with the approved plan. 
* Identifies standards or requirements for change management. Participates in change control (for example, reviewing configuration change requests). 
* Manages resource assignment and tracking to the project plan and project schedule in coordination with the line of business resource managers. 
* Negotiate the performance of activities with team members and their managers in a matrix environment. 
* Maintains current statements of work for all contractors; track and approve contractor invoices in a timely manner. 
* Provides regular updates to project sponsor and stakeholders on the status of the budget. 
* Documents reasons for budget excess or shortfall. 
* Schedule meetings, publish meeting notes, action items, track the same for completion 
* Report to Program Manager / Techinical Delivery Director, track/report progress per guidance. 

Requirements: 
* This position requires a four-year degree in CIS/MIS or equivalent experience of 2-3 years of related project management experience in a large scale, cross functional, multi-system environment. Out of the 2-3 years required, at least 1 year in a combination of the following: 
* Progressive broad-based Project Management experience (which could include consulting) is desirable; knowledge and implementation experience in new computing architectures and networked computing structures. 
* Experience as Project coordinator/Manager, with working knowledge of Systems development lifecycle and the Project Management Lifecycle. 

This resource will work on HIPAA 5010 program as Project Coordinator / Jr.PM

Technical & Storage Architect
Location: BURBANK CA

Role Description:
Experience with Systems Engineering. Specific focus on building server and
high performance SAN solutions
Experience implementing data networks including configuring SAN switches
Experience implementing, configuring, and tuning a shared storage system for
large media files, preferably NAS
Experience with an heterogeneous storage architecture:
Quantum Tape Library
Omneon MediaGrid
Atempo HSM
Intermediate to expert knowledge of: Quantum StorNext or Atempo file system,
Archive solutions (Storage Manager, DIVArchive) and LTO tape libraries, At
least one UNIX scripting shell (RHEL 5.2 Experience Preferred), Experience
in network, infrastructure and systems design and problem solving, Strong
verbal and written communication skills, Experience interacting with 3rd
party vendors

Responsible Work Products:
1. Manage vendors during the installation of servers, networking, and
storage Equipment
2. Harden the servers for DEV, TEST, and PROD
3. Install middleware applications such as Oracle Database, Oracle Weblogic,
and more
4. Analyze the performance of the storage and network across multiple data
centers
5. Manage, design, implement, and run a data replication process to move
approximately 500 600 TB of media files
