3+ years of experience in 24x7x365 datacenters and infrastructure operations, technologies, platform, IaaS/SaaS technologies and platforms
5+ years of strong hands on background in data centers, networking, virtualization and service management.
Strong foundation in Virtualization & Service Management
Some background in emerging technologies in cloud, docker, SDN, OpenStack, Cloud Foundry or SaaS preferred
Strong experience on VMware products - ESX, vCenter, vCloud Director.
Should be able to manage/support VMware stack.

Background:

 

This position is for a Technical Program Manager for Core Strength industry leading production initiatives to achieve the strategic goals for Claims, Audit, Enrollment, and DSS(Big Data and Analytics) technology game changing initiatives.

 

Competencies:

 

Knowledge of and experience in managing full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) Projects.

At a minimum, 5 years of direct program management experience is required, ideally at a Director level.

Knowledge of and experience in IT environment (Cobol/DB2 - mainframe, infrastructure, Web/Java, BPM and BRE tools))
Excellent knowledge of MS Office 2000 tool set – MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project and MS Visio and Clarity Portfolio Management tool.

Description:
We are looking for a GemFire developer who will sit in Herndon, VA. The hiring manager is looking for someone with at least 6 years of work and skill progression, with an ideal background in banking or finance. The ideal candidate would have the skill and ability to direct and define creative solutions while using functional and technical architecture requirements. This candidate would also ideally have experience in shell scripting on Linux, with strong experience in Spring framework and Maven, Jenkins, and Jenkins integration (for testing).
