Must haves:

2+ years experience in Hadoop and Big Data technologies with advanced knowledge in performance tuning.

Experience using big data technologies, Hadoop, HIVE,No-SQL databases ( like Hbase, Mongo db) ,SQL databases ( like Oracle, SQL server etc)

Hands on SQL programming.

 

Good to have:

8-10 years of IT experience

Highly knowledgeable in data concepts and technologies.

Hands on programming C, Python,R, Map-Reduce.

Understanding of machine learning concepts.

Proven ability to learn new technologies quickly.

Proven ability to work cross functionally to deliver appropriate resolution of technical, procedural and operational issues

Comprehensive knowledge and experience in process improvement, normalization/de-normalization, data extraction, data cleansing, data manipulation

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
