Job Description:

Provide IBM Websphere MQ and Message Broker technical support for the Agemcu, which is a single point of access to mission-critical business applications supporting the Agency at all levels of government.

1. Administration of IBM Websphere MQ version 7.0 and Message Broker version 6.1 and 7.0. Provide

support for these products in a clustered, high-availability, dual-data center environment.

2. Perform MQ queue manager, channel and queue configuration, administration and testing in the

Integration, Test, Staging and Production environments.

3. Deploy, administer and troubleshoot Message Broker flows.

4. Work closely with application development, quality assurance and enterprise architecture teams to

troubleshoot and resolve messaging issues in all environments.

5. Perform Websphere MQ and MB product upgrades and migrations.

6. Work off-hours occasionally to support maintenance, system migrations, upgrades, deployments and other initiatives.

7. Participate in rotational on-call support to maintain 24x7 coverage of the Integrated Justice Portal.
