Job Description

The scope is to resolve technical problems as a Websphere administrator in the Unix Operations team. The resource is expected to assist and have a working knowledge of WebSphere 6 and 7 installation, configuration and administration, Sun Solaris 9 and 10 administration, RedHat Linux 5+ administration, shell scripting, Solaris clustering, the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while adhering to schedule constraints, the ability to work well in a team environment and excellent communication and time management skills.

Responsibilities

·       Will document, research, identify and attempt to solve all technical and application related problems on initial call.

·       Document and track support activity and clearly communicate technical solutions in a user friendly professional manner.

Requirements

·       WebSphere 6 and 7 installation, configuration and administration.

·       Sun Solaris 9 and 10 administration.

·       RedHat Linux 5+ administration

·       Shell scripting

·       Solaris clustering

It's desirable for the candidate to have experience with at least one of the following skillsets:

·       ILOG/JRULE

·       WODM
